Sulfamic Acid refers to an odorless, crystalline solid, and white in colour that is used in cleaning metal and ceramic, dye manufacturing and stabilizing chlorine in swimming pools, in electroplating, and as a bleaching agent. Sulfamic Acid is neutralized by adding a dilute sodium hydroxide solution to determine if the solution is neutral or not. It is majorly used for cleaning heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, descaling toilets, jackets and coils, efflorescence other deposits of mineral deposits, removing excess grout on tiles, etc. It also helps remove protein deposits, hard water scale, milk stone, copper corrosion, and light rust.
